WHEN PRESENTERS GO HORRIBLY WRONG

From live gaffes and wardrobe malfunctions to slip-ups, pratfalls and even flying fists. Some of our best-loved presenters, from our favourite programmes including I’m A Celebrity, Good Morning Britain & Loose Women, have occasionally found themselves flying high and dry without an autocue!

There are rib-tickling and sometimes jaw-dropping, first-hand accounts from the people who were there and bought the t-shirt including everybody’s favourite showbiz correspondent Richard Arnold, who finds himself reaching for the sick bag after taking part in Bushtucker trial. A news story leaves BBC Look North’s veteran presenter Peter Levy in the dark when the lights go out live on air. And motormouth Terry Christian recalls the time he was slapped by a rogue audience member live on The Word, leaving him and millions of viewers in shock and bewilderment.

Other highlights include the evergreen Anthea Turner who recalls the time her young co-presenter, a pre-Hollywood Samantha Morton, face plants live on air. Awkward. Weather presenter Clare Nasir regrets a trip to Bridlington beach when she’s wiped out by a wave. And Steve Backshall turns nature presenting into naturism when his trousers rip during a piece to camera in front of a gobsmacked crew.

Narrated by Jan Leeming. Interviewees include presenters Nick Hancock, BBC weather’s Matt Taylor, Eurovision star Mans Zelmerlow and dancer Erin Boag.
