WHEN TV FAVOURITES GO HORRIBLY WRONG

(aka WHEN DAYTIME TV GOES HORRIBLY WRONG)

We all have our favourite shows when it comes to TV, often with their friendly presenters, cosy sofas and light-hearted chat. It’s our safe haven where we know what we’re getting.

But sometimes things can go horribly wrong. This 3-hour special narrated by Richard Madeley features less-than-perfect moments from some of the nation’s Favourite TV shows and stars including Phil & Holly on This Morning, Dick & Dom in Da Bungalow, Tenable’s Warwick Davis and Anne Robinson on The Weakest Link

There are disastrous moments from TV’s biggest stars including Lorraine Kelly, Jeremy Vine, Linda Barker and Pointless star Alexander Armstrong.

Highlights include the episode of This Morning where Alison Hammond nearly got herself arrested. Joan Rivers turns the air blue on Loose Women. A goat makes a dirty protest in Judge Rider’s courtroom and Linda Barker cocks-up a 60 Minute Makeover with just minutes to spare. There are hilarious first-hand accounts from the people who were there including Eamonn Holmes, who tells the story of when Mr. Blobby caused chaos on the set of GMTV. John Stapleton relives the moment he had the wool pulled over his eyes by young comedian Chris Morris on The Time The Place. BBC reporter Mike Bushell relives the time he went in at the deep-end, embarrassingly, at the Commonwealth Games. And Tim Wonnacott opens up about the time an antique smashed to smithereens in front of two startled Bargain Hunters, with hilarious consequences.

There are horribly wrong TV moments from around the world including an unfortunate Australian presenter who gets soaked by a lion and a Turkish makeover show pushes one contestant to the extreme.

ontributors include Laurence Llewelyn-Bowen, John Stapleton, Rustie Lee and Daytime TV Legends Anne Diamond and Nick Owen.
