WHEN SEX ON TV GOES HORRIBLY WRONG

Sex sometimes rears its head on TV whether it’s on a late-night show or in a dramatic love scene. When things pop up at the wrong time or they flop, it can leave us hot under the collar, for all the wrong reasons. We’re promising two hours of non-stop action in this special narrated by Maria McErlane.
Highlights include the couple who caused a buzz on Married at First Sight when they used an intimate marital aid at the dinner table. New bride Rozz Darlington who featured in the episode, reveals the reaction she received when the programme first aired. Daytime TV favourite Come Dine with Me serves up a platter full of awkwardness when a grandma in her sixties and a young hairdresser find themselves getting it on in front of the other shocked contestants. And veteran actor Keith Baron suffers the ultimate indignity when during a moment of intimacy in a love scene, he gets cramp.
Other highlights include the time drama Footballers’ Wives went too far with a love scene aboard a private jet. The mile-high antics proved too much for many TV viewers just after the watershed. There’s carnage at the Euro 2024 Football Draw when a prankster plays crude noises to a shocked crowd and millions listening in at home. We’ve got the Italian version of This Morning that ran a segment for females on how to shop “sexily”, which caused uproar amongst viewers and got the programme taken off air. And on Scared of the Dark, the series where celebrities spend their time fumbling in the dark, Gazza makes a startling confession about his carnal desires for a certain Iron Lady.
Interviewees include broadcaster & journalist Dawn Neesom, actress & presenter Linda Lusardi and reality star Jack Fincham.
