WHEN CAMPING GOES HORRIBLY WRONG

As a nation, we love camping. It’s a chance to reconnect with nature and spend quality time with friends and family, in the great outdoors. When these jolly jaunts go right, there’ll be happy campers all-round. But when things go Horribly Wrong, it can get hairy.  got the people who were there, to remind us life in tents, can become intense!

Highlights of this 90-minute special narrated by Helen Lederer include a trip to Northern Ireland which is a midge too far as millions of tiny insects turn one camper’s life into a living hell. There’s a walk on the wild side on safari in South Africa, when a camper ends up in a face-off with a lion. A holiday to Snowdonia takes a sinister turn when two female backpackers return to their car, only to find their tyres have been slashed, and they have their suspicions as to who has done it. And a glamping tent gets rammed, quite literally, when some sheep flock into it, with hilarious consequences.

Other stories include the family whose wet weekend in Wales puts them off camping for life. A trip to Fraser Island ends in disaster when a holidaymaker is bitten Down Under. Plus, a tent fishing trip really takes-off after a snow-mobile unwittingly drags the shack, its fisherman and all its contents at high speed across a frozen lake.
